I have the medium brown birch cupboards and have been happy with the look until I got to the corner wall cupboard. The door seems too small to cover the sides, leaving an obvious blond edge on both sides of the cupboard. Should I be getting some kind of trim to cover the edges or am I doing something else wrong?

i think they are just like that. you can either get veneer strip and stain it (lowes has everything you need) or you can try to hide it a little more. i put side cover panels on both sides and had them extend 3/4" instead of the normal 1/2" and this hid it alittle more. you have to be careful tough, if you set them out too far, your door won't open....

There are extra tall/thick stick on cushions that should have come with your unit. Theyhelp the door look the right size. We're planning on getting some veneer later but for now those thicker dots made a world of difference in the angle that the door sat at.

Edited to ask - you are talking about the front of the cabinet, not the sides (which would need a coverpanel if they're the end of your run, right?

I don't remember seeing these cushions...can I order them separately from IKEA? I did find the special hinges and they helped a lot, and I will try widening the side panel a tad, as well. Thanks for all your suggestions!
