Hello...this is my first post.

We're very close to placing our order in.

Although slightly more money, is the ADEL WHITE better than the APPLAD? We're using the long langas 256mm handles no matter what. So does anyone have any suggestions.
Maybe even adel cream?

We can't seem to decide which one we like the most the applad or the adel white.

Anyone??

I don't think one is better than the other, but they are two different materials. Applad having a white painted finish on fiber board and Adel being thermofoil. Adel may be more scratch resistant. What look are you going for? I've seen modern looking kitchens with both Adel and Applad. What are the other elements you are plannning for the kitchen? For a more clean, minimalist look I would obviously say Applad. If I liked both, I would be more inclined to go with the less expensive, but that is just cheap skate me

Hey tudi thanks for the reply.

We have an old war time house, with a fairly small kitchen. We're incorporating some aviskt glass on a couple of 30X30 cabinets, with pronomen countertops. One thing that we're doing a little differently is we are going to use 3 adel horizontal glass cabinets.
We don't want to have an over the top modern look though, because of the age of our house we want to sustain a warmer looking feel. Also we have two windows in our kitchen, so there's quite a bit of light.
So yes we do want a simple look, but the adels recently caught my eye because they seem pretty elegant.

There would only be two wall cabinets that had solid door fronts. So the decision of applad white or adel white is mainly for base cabinets. I haven't seen any pics with the applad and the langas 256mm handles. but I have seen some pics with the adel white and the langas handles. And it looks great.

Any other suggestions? Anyone else?

It you're already using Adel white on some upper cabinets, I'd stick with it for the base cabinets. I like mixing cabinet styles, but I don't think those two work together.

The Adel white certainly looks 'classier' than the Applad ( a slab door is just that) - quality wise there is not much difference, but for your scenerio, the Adel would work better (personal opinion )

Also, if I remember correctly, the Applad white and Adel white are not quite the same color. Of course, not all batches of Adel white are exactly the same either, according to my Ikean. You might want to haul in one of your current Adel doors and compare, to determine if they are noticably different.
