DH really wants to use Abstrakt white in the condo. I used some Abstrakt black for a remodel and I know it scratches easily. How have you found the white holds up in your kitchen? Do you regret using it?

I haven't noticed scratches at all, and I have two kids and a husband who isn't particularly delicate with the cabinets (we had our old awful kitchen for so long, and none of us cared how we treated it, so we are all still a little rough).

Thanks for your response. I forgot to ask about fingerprints. Do they show easily? Does it drive you crazy?

i really haven't noticed any. maybe because we use the big lansa handles? i don't know -- but i'm thinking fingerprints would show up on the Abstrakt Black much more easily than on the white.

good question, I've wondered how it will hold up under daily use myself; my planner sold me an Abstrakt white door for my 12" pullout base cab. It was the only available cover that could conceivably not clash with my combo of Rubrik SS & white glass cab fronts and oak side panels. Well, Abstrakt is shinier than the rest, but I have white appliances to blend with the monotony of SS; (hate SS appliances, but love the high-tech SS cab look!)

What have you all noticed, aside from dirt and little scratches...any chipping or coming away from the backing? As for the melamine, I found the melamine in white IKEA frames to be thin and brittle. The install alone caused much chipping...not sure how the inside of my melamine sink cab will hold up under heavy use!
