Ikea KOMPLEMENT shoe organizer

Has anyone had success using the shoe organizer with the shoe trees? We can't seem to get our shoes to fit. It's suppose to hold 16 pairs but there's no way I can get them to fit.

I have done 2 large jobs for a couple in which I've installed 10 of these racks each time - the husband is a sneaker "hound" and owns over 100 pairs of sneaks. He wears size 12 shoes, and manages to get all his sneaks on these racks.

The racks don't provide much room for shoes of much height, but Alfie can get his 100 pairs of size 12s on them - maybe you need lower profile shoes? Have you thought about the sloping metal shoe shelves?

Thanks for the information. I was able to get my shoes on the racks with a little effort (skinny heels in the middle row) but it didn't work at all for his shoes. He ended up taking the shoe trees off and laying his shoes flat on the rack, which he's happier with. Now we have about 50 shoe trees!

Dip them in chocolate and give the away for Halloween - the kids will never know the difference.

BTW, did I mention I hate that piece? Among trying to assemble it, the fragility of some of the lollipops, and the issues you had with it, they ought to do away with it.
