Can someone please tell me what this product is and how it's used. The tag inside says BLIMP and the product code numbers are 700.797.78 19546
It looks like a blue foam cat bed, or half of a giant padded bra? I think it is some kind of storage product, but can't find any info on IKEA site. Thanks.

LOL That's a pretty good description! I believe what you've got is a soft, wall-hung storage bin...they're part of one of the IKEA Kids line, and all the products in that line are called Blimp.

edited to add: apparently they make cozy little rodent houses too. Blanket not included, though!

Thanks for the info and photo.....I'm not sure what I'll use it for, but it won't be rodents! Is this a discontinued line?.....nothing comes up when I search for Blimp (except a kids pendant lamp)

They were in the 2006 catalog, in green, blue and gray for $5 each but not any since. I don't know if they are still part of the current line available at the store.
