For all Mac users!

I wanted to let all the Mac users know that there is a way of using windows specified programs on a Mac like the Ikea Kitchen planner.

I'm using a program called VMware that runs parrallel on a mac. When you run the program, it opens up a window and shows you a normal PC desktop and from there you can use all windows softwares, and switch back and forth without having to restart!

Hi, Kathy. In order to use Fusion or Parallels (they are not the same thing--two different programs that let you run windows) you must purchase the program plus a copy of windows. I have windows on my mac because I must but I can totally and completely understand people who do not want to put windows on their macs. Even on a mac, windows is windows and you must run all the same AV, anti-adware, anti-spyware programs you would on a windows computer. That's a lot of commitment just to use the planner.

Ohhh, i totally agree that it's a lot of work!

I have to keep windows around because of other softwares like AutoCad that I have to use for floorplans. If i could I'd ditch windows in a heart beat!
