On the subject of "good" particleboard versus "bad" particleboard, does anyone know the specifications of the particleboard used by IKEA in its kitchen cabinets? I have seen other websites that refer, for example, to high, medium, and low density. Others refer to the PSI with which the particle board is pressed, ranging from "16 PSI junk" to "industrial 45 PSI particleboard" and even 65 PSI particleboard. I haven't seen anywhere (yet) what grade particleboard IKEA uses. Can anyone help out?
