I have an Ikea wardrobe that I custom built fitted with doors that go floor to ceiling and these smell awful, they smell of old sweat. I fitted these over 2 years ago and they are worse now than when they were new.
The smell is very strong when you go right up to the door and smell the edges of the veneer joins.
Ventilating the room with windows wide has not improved the situation. The room is also very warm so stories of successfully 'baking off' the smell are not working for us, over two years in the trying.
These doors will be coming off in the next couple of months and I will never buy from or recommend Ikea again.

Hi, I've also got this problem with my paz aneboda doors and I'm just trying to tackle it with Ikea, Warrington UK . They are refusing to accept that they smell so I'm not expecting a positive outcome. I will replace the doors at my own expense if necessary but its the last purchase I will ever make at Ikea and I've spent thousands over the years.

Hoorah, Ikea have accepted that there is an odour coming from the doors. I was offered replacement with cheaper doors as the aneboda are no longer available or a £50 credit against other doors. Well at least it's something.
If any one else has this problem and the store is looking for previous cases of this my case reference number is 6606708 surname Thornley.

Congratulations! I'm glad your persistence was rewarded.
I have not had odor problems myself, but I absolutely recognize the concerns.

I wouldn't be surprised if the odor problems are related to a particular manufacturing plant,which might have used a different formula for glue, paint or topcoat.... and I'm sure IKEA corporate would want other instances reported so to try and track down the offending manufacturing run.
