So, now that we've proven (and all had our say) that we're on the same team, can we move forward, beyond this misunderstanding? Because, honestly, from the outside, I see that you're all actually saying almost the exact same thing. (and i believe, whole heartedly, that the cow/bean comments were purely for jest and fun)
for the record, i'm buying an old school International Scout (reuse at it's best) and sinking a new, cleaner running (i fear the use of the word green to describe an engine) engine into it
i get that, but i also don't think that was anyone's direct intent (please, folks, for the sake of the sanity of this thread, can we avoid chiming in that it "wasn't what you did").... all posters, to your corners I don't want to peel out the posts and start a "chat" thread because i think there is a lot (A LOT) of useful and interesting informations woven into the discussion. But it should be a discussion, not a debate (or worse).
Everyone is sorry if anyone took things the wrong way. Everyone is sorry if they mispoke. Everyone accepts everyone's apology.
and i wasn't really blaming farmers -- it was a joke. about cow farts. possibly getting more laughs in my home than on this board.
yankeelawyer -- i wasn't trying to put words into your mouth, but i did feel sensitive since you chose an earlier post of mine to make a stand on. i'm sorry that i offended you with my later posts, and i'm sorry that i misunderstood you.
Dulci -- was it you who mentioned putting a cleaner engine in an old Scout? I know this isn't the board for it -- but I'd love to hear more.
Just what do the standards mean? I wrote several days ago asking for copies of this information, no luck. Just found this site.
IS formaldehyde added? If so, how much?
Please show and compare formaldehyde content in Åkurum cabinet particle/press board with well dried pine and/or oak please.
I am trying to find information and certainly will not buy until then!!! So, not an Ikea fan. But I am a fan of good data.
Thank you.
