isn't that frightening? I feel like if the first night is not conclusive they should try again.
I had a house guest for a week and she woke the entire house up every night. It was horrid. I shared our family's experience and she got offended because, "women don't have those issues. It wouldn't be feminine" She was wrong on the former and right on the latter. I have lived with quite a few men who snored and this chick beat them all, hands down.

I have a friend who is chronically sleep deprived because her husband can snore loud enough to wake people up in the next house! It's awful.

Susan, I've heard of machines that you can use at night that monitor your breathing, maybe that would help nail down the issue?

eva, if that dr had decided it was apnea then susan's mom would have gotten the machine. they don't give them out unless that sleep test is conclusive.... that's what i was talking about in my post about dh

climber_girl....(sorry, i dont' know your real name!)

my parents have been very happily married for nearly 37 years and sleep in separate rooms.

i really don't see why being coupled means giving up good sleep!

i'd be all over the separate bed idea. i'm a light sleeper, sharing a bed is not fun for me.
