Hey there, IKEA fans! This site is great. I personally think IKEA should help to fund it because I believe this site has kept us on the track of buying a kitchen from them, where without this site we would have had so many unanswered questions that we might have looked elsewhere...

Anyways, on to my question. We have no IKEA in our state, so we're doing this all via catalogues and website. GRUNDTAL Nickel-plated Spotlights. How in the heck do they work, how do you install them, basically, what's going on within the cabinet regarding wiring that you can't see on the exterior? We aren't sure if we need to order a connector piece to go between each set of 1 or 3 that we buy, and can't seem to find installation or wiring info. I searched this site and so far haven't found anything. If there is a thread I've missed I would be happy to check that out.

Here's a copy of the GRUNDTAL halogen spot instructions... It'll give you the assembly basics. As far as cord management, you just tack the cords to the underside of the cabinet, or you can run them up behind if you're plugging them in up above -- it depends on your configuration!

I needed to know this as well. For some reason my lights didn't come with any instructions save a sketch on the package. This helps TREMENDOUSLY!
