Question Expedit TV stand

Hi there folks

I'm here for some advice.

We are thinking of getting the expedit TV stand (185x185x39) and it is listed as a flat screen tv stand. Our television is not flat screen, but is only 40cm deep, hence I think would only overhang very slightly and be fine....

does anyone have one that they can check the measurement of or does anyone have an opinion on this.

would hate to get it home, assemble it and realise it just didn't fit...!

thanks

Re: Expedit TV stand

As the backing in the TV area is solid (so flat screens can be mounted directly on it), you lose about 2cm of depth. Depending on your TV's design, those 2cm could be critical.

You can omit those backing boards, though it will make the unit much less stable.

Re: Expedit TV stand

Perhaps strap or velcro the TV down onto the shelf to prevent it from slipping or tipping?
