Question mattress??
i need help... we're getting a new Noresund king size... we'll be gettign a new matterss for it and we have some concerns... My wife is leaning towards a thick traditional non-ikea mattress... I'm worried about a it ruining the look of the bed... are ikea mattress really comprable to traditional one??

I guess I'm confused about "thick traditional non-IKEA mattress"... I also have the NORESUND -- My IKEA mattress is a good 11" thick, and most "traditional" mattresses run from 8"-12" so.... are you speaking more about a slats/mattress combination vs. a boxspring/mattress combination?

I went with slats... a boxspring combination may cover more of the headboard, and take away from the frame's overall look.
