I need to configure some drawers for my closet, and have just about decided against the open mesh type. I'm not sure if I want a 39-3/8" drawer base or will be just fine with the 19-5/8" width. Does anyone know the interior dimensions of these drawers?

The wood drawers are 15 3/4" wide, 20 3/4" deep and the tall sides are 5 1/2", front is slightly shorter at 4 1/2". HTH!

The wood drawers for the 39" PAX carcass are 35 3/8 wide (interior dim.).

Hmmn, I don't think those are the drawers I mean. I want to use these Nexus birch drawers, which I think have steel sides.

Ah...I am not familiar with those kind I guess...the drawers that are on the outside like a regular drawer front, right?. All my PAX units have full height doors with the interior wood drawers only.
I would think they've gotta be pretty close to the same dimensions.

You're right splatgirl, I can't imagine there being much difference.

eva, I recognize your fabulous guest room!

Mine is a walkin closet/dressing room. We're using wire shelving for the hanging areas, but I need some drawer space as no clothes will be kept in our bedroom. I think the short PAX base units will work well.

Otoh, DH really wants the wire baskets for better air circulation. There is a return air duct in this area that should keep the dust down... Guess I'll look at Antonius and Closet Maid some more...
