Hi all ! Has anyone one heard of a College / Student Discount that Ikea honors? This was mentioned on the SlickDeals forums, but very little confirmation so far (just a few I think.)

Is it just a myth...like unicorns and Santa Claus. Whoops...did I spoil it for some people. The West Sacramento store has never heard of it, which, doesn't surprise me.

It's not mythical, but it is per the individual store, as they are free to run their own promotions.

Down here at Covina, there is a college student discount, which can be factored with the 3% debit card voucher for even better savings. I didn't notice if there was any at Carson or Costa Mesa, though I do find other price differences, both new stock and sale items, amongst them.
