I called my local US IKEA to ask about the current 10% off sale but I got shuffled to voicemail. So I figured I'd ask the experts here:

a) does the sale also apply to kitchen carts and islands?

b) does the minimum $2500 have to be made all at once? can I purchase $1500 then another $1500 and still qualify?

c) what if I purchase $3000 worth and return $600 worth the following week, do I get debited the 10%?

Islands from free-standing kitchens lines, yes. Carts, would depend on the kind of cart. I suspect that if it's a part of the free-standing kitchens line, yes. Just a random cart, no.

Several posters have reported returning and adding to their orders. But I suspect the time between purchases would matter. If all else fails, you could just return and reorder.

Yes. If returns drop your total purchase below the minimum, you lose the discount on the whole purchase.

I also have a specific question. If I spend $1700 on kitchen cabinets, counters, etc. and then spend another $1500 or so on 3 or more appliances, do I still qualify for the 20% off?

Yes, I'm wondering the same thing too. It's happening in Canada , but what about the US?
