This fridge was a deal at $1399. At $999 it's a mind-boggling steal. Try and find another stainless steel 36" counter depth side-by-side with in-door water and ice for under $2000. You can't.

Well, actually you *can* find a fridge with all that for under $2,000. There are several Frigidare models that are counter-depth stainless... the lowest I've seen one is $1150 in Phoenix. Anyway, the Ikea Store in
Tempe
, AZ is selling this Nutid fridge for the full $1,399. She said it's due to be discontinued in August, but they think they'll be able to sell all theirs without having to discount the price. Your store may have anticipated that without a price reduction they'd be stuck with old stock in August, so they agressively lowered the price now. I kind of like the Nutid, but the massive black ice dispenser is kind of a turn-off to me. On the other hand, don't Ikea appliances come with a 5-year warranty? That's great to have.
