I'm not sure I understand. The PAX line has a large selection of doors and interior fittings specifically for it and AFIK, those are the only that will fit it. Are you asking if any of the kitchen stuff works?
I've come across some Pax cabinets in the as-is section, but I wasn't able to find an available parts person to ask about the doors and interior fittings. I just wanted to know prior to purchasing them.
All the interior stuff for Pax is called KOMPLEMENT. The PAX frames come in two widths (19 and 39 inches) and two heights. You can get wood drawers, wood slideout shelves, wire slideout baskets, hanger bars and regular shelves for both sizes. In addition, there are some soft fittings like boxes and bins that fit into the Komplement drawers.
I apologize for any confusion the Pax item I'm referring to is actually categorized/labeled as a cabinet not the wardrobe. I believe the dimensions are aprx. 19Wx13Dx30H. After viewing the Ikea site I see that doors may be available....at $20 I wonder if this item is being discontinued, that could be why the as-is customer service are scratching their heads when I asked them.
if you have internet service, the ikea site is pretty abundant with stuff for both pax wardrobe and cabinet frames. the wardrobes flyer and ikea's wardrobe inspiration pages show a few wardrobe-cabinet combos. doors shouldn't be hard to come by and, if you're willing and patient again, you can sift thru the as-is area for any of this stuff if you're also willing to go without until you just can't take it anymore.
I just bought a 20" and a 40" wide so I know.
They are 13" deep, and 27 or 30" high (depending on if you use the plinth or not) They are not being discontinued, but they don't seem to be very popular, or else they're not used much in the showroom. I think they're a *great* size!
I mounted my cabinets on VATTERN legs to make a buffet-size shallow wardrobe.
You want to use the 13" deep KOMPLIMENT accessories: Metal shoe shelf; metal shoe rack; MDF shelves, etc. There are not as many 13" deep accessories available as 22" deep ones.
There are a limited number of HINGE DOORS for the cabinets: I chose Nexus. Doors are 20x30". You'll need to BUY HINGES SEPARATELY! they are not included with the doors. Also a handle.
These cabinets are nice, in that they're finished top and bottom. (They are meant to be hung on a wall)
If you use legs, I'd recommend something like Vattern, that have a mounting plate, for support and stability.
The Vattern legs have a rectangular metal plate w/a screw post welded on; you attach the plate to the bottom of the cabinet w/ 4 screws, then attach the leg. In contrast, some other legs, say Besta, you drill a hole in the bottom of the cabinet and run a bolt thru to screw on the legs.
The 13" deep also have wire baskets for the interior.
BTW - the doors only need 2 hinges; they're sold in pkgs. of 3, so you'll have one left over.

Reason: forgot something
you also have CAPITA, NUMERAR, and UTBY kitchen cabinet legs that have two components - attach plate, then leg. great variety if you want to see legs. i used 4" CAPITA ($2 AS-IS!) for my EXPEDIT bookcases.
btw, rubrik green is hawt. wish there was rubrik orange ... or purple or azul.
