Question Portable Dishwasher?

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn a standard IKEA dishwasher into a portable? Could you simply cover the top and sides and put casters on the bottom?

Re: Portable Dishwasher?

Hi,

As a current owner of a portable dishwasher I am wondering how the water would / could be hooked up? Mine has a water line with an attachment i put on my facuet aslo a retractable cord with a plug.

That being said - I think with some research one might be able to find out who actually makes the dishwasher and then see if there is a kit one could purchase to convert it.

When we were going to reno our kitchen before the addition / no addition saga I researched and could purchase a kit from Maytag to make my Maytag portable a built in - if memory serves me correctly it was around $100.00 for the kit.

DOes anyone know who manufactures the ikea appliances?

Just my .02

Deb
