Hey all, I'm a college student about to move in to a tiny apartment; my bedroom is only barely more than 100 square feet. I have a MALM TV storage unit -
this one - that, as I do not own a TV, I feel would be of more use to me as a combination desk and dresser. The dresser bit is accounted for by the drawers, so I am hoping that I could install some sort of surface that could slide or fold out of the area where the TV is supposed to be kept. I have never done anything handy like this before, and I am hoping that someone with more DIY and IKEA hacking know-how could recommend how to go about making a retractable desk-surface for the MALM.
EDIT: the "this one" link in the original post led to a totally unrelated web page, sorry for that.
