Hello, my closest ikea is about an hour away. I'm planning on making a custom desk and wanted to use vika curry legs for a cheap clean solution. the legs are maybe ~2 inches shorter than I'd like. I was thinking adding some small casters to allow some easy move-a-bility plus raise it up a bit.

In any case I cannot find a good picture of what the feet of the vika curry legs look like and if I'd be able to hack them and install some type of caster. it looks like there is a plastic foot that covers the bottom of the curry leg, if someone has some of these legs would they be so kind as to maybe snap a close up pick of the foot with and without the cap on? Is the bottom of the leg hollow and the plastic foot is a plug? or does the foot go over a flat piece of metal that I could drill and screw a caster in?

a picture or two would be soooo helpful, but a description from an owner with what I have in mind would be helpful also.

The Curry legs are hollow and the plastic cap is just that and nothing more. Without some additional insert, there is nothing to secure a caster into.
