My wife and I bought the Ikea corner TV Stand several years ago. The back is tapered so that it can fit tightly in a corner. We both like the way it looks from the front, but have never used it in a corner. I decided to cut about 5 inches from the back and also cut out a cable access hole in the rear support leg.
I know this isn't a huge modification that everyone's gonna want, but it really fits the room a whole lot better now. I'm not even sure if Ikea still sells the unit. I just thought I'd share.
