WD40, THANX! You explained the problem perfectly! You knew exactly what is going on. Yes, you are able to load Windows XP on a non-Intel machine if you have Virtual PC 6 or 7. Since my processor is about a third of the power that is now available, I can see how it gets locked up. OH well! I have VMWare Fusion for an Intel Mac, but have to get a separate Windows package for the newer machine. THanx again! I will just have to use the old cut and past method at the back of the Kitchen catalogue! LOL ! Thanx again.
