Re: Denmark is a privileged country

Jesper, that's cool, but I see it requires that you have the planner setup already. The benefit of posting a planner file and pictures here is access for everyone who can't do that for whatever reason--and a great time saver for people who only have a few minutes but would like to make a quick comment on a proposed design. Ikeafans will lose if we can't do that anymore. I suppose we're all going to have to get used to making and editing screenshots?

Hello NBeth,

Well actually it's easier than ever to share your plan now.
Either you email the plan to your friend and they use the link to view it, or post it on a website. If the person hasn't got the planner plugin they will be prompted about it and after downloading it opens up.

When it comes to showing a picture this is possible as well, however the picture is pretty smal at the moment.
Here you see how it looks when you save your drawing:

The small preview that you see here is actually stored online as well. Just right click, choose properties and copy the adress of the picture.
For my drawing the adress is:
http://kitchenplanner.ikea.com/DK/Im...4b886a4e7e.jpg

If you click on this the preview should show up as well.
You could then post it as a picture here in the forums and just state that adress as the picture adress.

Also the email that is sent contains a preview that actually is bigger, see example below:

Best regards,
Jesper

Re: Denmark is a privileged country

If you're on break at work, you can't install a plugin on your work computer to check out a new design, so stuff posted directly here is important. If I understand correctly, I can mail the files to myself and then post pics here, right? Is there an equiv. mode of posting the details of which cabs, etc., short of posting a picture of the purchase list? The fpf file was a very efficient format--maybe its one good feature .

Don't get me wrong: I'm really looking forward to the new features! Just want to know how we can get the most out of them!
