Hello,

I'm new to Ikeafans (and so inspired by what I see ). I'm trying to plan for a new kitchen but can't find counter tops beyond four basic ones in "Extra Countertop Solutions" in Countertops.

Would greatly appreciate any thoughts on how I can find more countertops to work around with.

The planner will only show the countertops that Ikea actually carries- lagan, numerar, and pragel. The other countertop options (granite, corian, etc) that you may see displayed in their store are sourced from another vendor. Those options are not going to show up the planner.

When purchasing your kitchen, I would encourage you to look into local vendors for countertop solutions if the stock Ikea items don't work for you. Ikea is likely buying from someone who you could buy directly from.

I was workign with the planner today, and found that after you select your cabinets, in the right column, there's an option for Options - there you can change things like the frame color, the door style, legs and countertops. But like StrawberryLimonade says, you only have the options that IKEA offers.

Thanks Strawberry_Limonade and Susan. I am trying to get a look and feel for the end product through the plans so will made do for now and as suggested by a custom made one later.
