I am having a horrible time with the planner too. Won't work in FF9, won't download in IE9 and crashes in Chrome. My plans disappear sometimes but then appear if I reopen the planner. I am finding this all very maddening.

I have issues as well. Ikea customer service confirmed no new versions of Firefox are supported. This is part of their response:

Windows Browsers:
Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
Firefox 3.5.70 or higher

Mac Browsers:
Firefox 3.5.7 *Currently not compatable with Firefox 4.0 or greater!
Safari 4.0.3 or higher

I have also problems using certain features, my designs do not show up properly as I've seen on this forum and Ikea hacks website.
I suspect it is due to Windows7 64 bit.

The 3D software is outdated, I learned to live with it as it is. I get errors once a while while saving as well. I just try later and it magically works again.

I can't even email the design, I get an error. Woops, I just tried again and it just went through. Could their online system be overloaded?

I hear the angels singing!

On a whim I tried to open the planner with FF9 today and it let me install and run the planner. It was a slow but it worked! I now have updated saved plans that I saved to my computer. I am a happy camper.

I can hear them now as well.
I copied a link from my opened IE9's 3D design and pasted it into FF9 and viola! It let me download the 3D software and open my IE9's designs.
