I just spoke to Jaydah at the Atlanta Ikea Kitchens Department. Here is the list of cabinet styles that are kept in stock there:

She also told me that most of the appliances have to be ordered. Orders for not in stock items take about two weeks from the date of payment.

And VERY IMPORTANT - if you have to pick up things from the warehouse: It is about 2 miles away (I did not get directions ). According to what Jaydah has heard there is NO HELP to load items, so bring a buddy to help load your order.

I mentioned Ikea Fans to Jaydah - she knew who I was talking about and was very flattered when I told her that our members had good things to say about her.

Just want to praise this coworker. The fagerland doors for the lazy susan corner cab were out of stock in Atlanta until week 48 (that was week 42). He tracked them down in College Park , MD, set up an order through that store and arranged delivery to our door.

College Park got the sale and Atlanta ate the UPS shipping. I only paid for the doors. He went above and beyond and I really appreciate it.

I agree Guy is fantastic! We met him in Atlanta when we did an IKEAFANS Meet & Greet back in March and found him to be thoroughly engaging. We've received numerous good reports from many other members as well. Thanks for adding your comments!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that some of the store info needs to be updated. Lynda Mee is no longer with IKEA, the new store manager is Jim Anastous. Unfortunately, Guy, Jaydah, Brita, and Victor are no longer in kitchens. The manager of kitchens currently is Ron, and as far as I can tell, the kitchen planner to ask for is Fredrick.

If you take MARTA (Atlanta's public transit system), get off at the Arts Center station and there is a free shuttle to IKEA Atlanta's front door. The delivery fees within a 30 mile radius are $49, with increases for each additional mile and/or extra flights of stairs (with 2 flights included, I believe.)

Guy now works in bedrooms, so if you need a new mattress or PAX, you know who to ask for! Hope this helps...
