One brief comment...this is kind of silly, but I miss being able to just click on recent posts and get to the ones that were still "new" for me. Yes, it still works and is now a pull down menu with more options...but it's an extra motion. Just thought I'd put that out there in case others feel the same way. I can see that the extra functionality is nice and if even one person uses it, it should stay.
and if not, it will be! It's not a trivial thing ! I agree - it was very useful. I loved the Recent Tab in our old system and I miss it as well. We'll be reassessing the nav bar when new features start going in, along with a new menu on the left. Some things will come off the blue nav bar and will make way for new/revived items. We're also looking at trying to get a static search working so that the Recent doesn't time out. THAT's irritating!
Well...this poll was initiated way back in March of last year. We have since migrated to new forum software (November 15th, 2006) and then this poll was revived. I should probably close it and start a new one, but for now I'll edit the above.

Due to changes in forum software since this poll was originally posted, the options available before, namely multiple selections are not available to this poll. I have started a new poll with more relevant selections to the current forums and the option to select multiple choices.
