New to Ikeafans, and thought I'd just post an intro.
I've put together a lot of Ikea stuff, my office, and all kinds of assorted furniture, from beds to dressers and closets, but right now I'm doing my kitchen, Akurum cabinets, and I've definitely noticed that, for me, it's all about the prep work.

Hi and welcome to Ikeafans. I'm also from Vancouver - I live quite near the Ikea Coquiltam store, but my hubby works a few blocks from the Richmond store.

Be sure to post you floorplan and any update. We love to hear all about everyones' projects. And if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. If you'd like feedback on your plan, just post it to the Kitchen Planning forum and you'll be sure to hear from more than one kitchen obsessed member.
