Wow! We just keep growing! So many new IKEAFANS, and yet the atmosphere around here is just as friendly as when we had 250 members. Thanks to the entire community for making IKEAFANS what it is today!!!
Just joined because the actual Ikea website didn't have the Expedit TV unit instructions and google sent me here. I want to thank ya'll because I was about to give my tv unit to my mom since I didn't know how I would be able to move it when I go across country.
I've been a Ikea fan since...hmm I would about 10 years. My mom came across the store during a drive through Baltimore County and the colors drew us....and the rest is history. 85% of the stuff in my house is Ikea...well that's not true....100% in my bedroom is and probably 97% of my house is...and with me moving, I will definitely be incorporating more items.
I am actually going to be moving cross country and have already mapped out a Ikea that would be near by.
Hi everyone,
I just joined since I'm going to install my IKEA kitchen (hopefully) soon! I definitely need some tips and tricks, so I hope this is a good place to get some feedback!

______________________________________________________ I'm making a personal appeal to you for a donation to IKEAFANS.
This site is not funded by IKEA, nor by private investors of any kind. It's run by two people in Virginia, USA who pay for it out of their own pockets because they really believe in acts of kindness and enjoy sharing the IKEA way with others. And yes, because they are crazy.
If this site has helped you figure out how to put that IKEA piece together, design your kitchen, give you a place to show off your creative work...if someone here sent you some IKEA fasteners in the mail at no charge, or just provided moral support when the renovation work felt like too much, PLEASE GIVE TO IKEAFANS.
Yes, there's advertising. It generates a tiny amount and does not begin to cover the cost of bandwidth. None of the people on this site get paid a penny to answer questions, post instructions, design a kitchen.
IKEAFANS needs your help to stay open. It's really that simple. If you downloaded instructions, kick in $5. If you got help to design your kitchen, kick in $50-$250, 50% of what you would have paid elsewhere for a plan.
Contribute what you can. But please, contribute. Your contribution supports a remarkable place. When help is needed, help is given out of the love of helping. Help keep this remarkable place alive by contributing right now.
