Hello to everyone

We are designing a home to be built in PA and have been researching kitchen cabinets. The "buzz" seems to be with Ikea, as I have not found another brand that has attracted so much positive PR.
Akurum Yellow brown is what my wife has fallen in love with, I would agree with her if I could add a few more coats of Poly to them.....anyone have any thoughts about doing that?

Also what is Ikea's track record of pulling styles/colors off the production line? If i need to replace some doors down the line, am I going to be out of luck? should I order extras with my initial order?

This is a great site for Ikeans to gather, I hope to be one very soon
