I've shopped on the IKEA website before and honestly, I didn't see what the big deal was. I always hear how great IKEA is and from their website I was never really over excited to go to the store!
Anyway, I tagged along with some friends that were going and was shocked when I pulled into the parking lot!
WHAT IS THIS PLACE??? It looked like a mall!

Anyway, I was completely suprised by my trip to IKEA! I spent about $75 on stuff I didn't need, but had to stop after that! LOL
I liked the idea of the shopping show room...,.it really helps to see what you can do with the stuff you buy and imagine it in a setting other than on a shelf.
But I really like the first floor because I felt like I was on a big mission to find all the small things I saw along my show room tour!
I was able to get a really cool magnifying retractable style mirror that screws to the wall. That was my best purchase- I was looked for something like this but could only find stand up ones and my vanity top is too short to use the stand up on. The other wall ones are just in the way. This tucks back to the wall.
A few serving spoons and wooden organzier shelves (that did take forever to put together!!!!) anyway....now that I left the store, I am looking around and starting to notice all the things I SHOULD have bought while I was there! So I'll be back soon...the website just isn't the same! (and a cinnamon bun helps, too!)
