Hi, my name is Martin and I'm an Ikea addict

I've been using Ikea furniture for over 17 years now. I am originally from England, and I remodelled the kitchen of my old house there using Ikea cabinets. My current house in Vancouver, WA looks like an Ikea showroom, with Billy bookcases, Magiker units, Effektiv in the study, Malm in the master and guest bedrooms. I hate the current kitchen cabinets, so they will be getting an Ikea makeover when funds allow.

I stumbled upon this site while looking for details on wall mounting for Effektiv desks - that will be stage 2 of my study remodel - and I'm impressed by the amount of information here.

I am an IkeAddict myself. I didn't realize how much until recently a friend was admiring many things in my house, and I kept saying "Yep, got that at Ikea, too. Yep, that too. Uh huh...Ikea."
"Wow, you really like Ikea, don't you?"
And all I could think was 'Yeah, looks great, good prices, good quality...what's not to like?" I think most of my major components in my living and dining spaces are Ikea: Markor, Ektorp, and now Adel MB!
