Jim B a devoted dad to my daughter's kitchen

I'm Jim Blanchar, a retired Civil Engineer. I retired almost 7 years ago. I have spent much of that time remodeling our Iowa and Florida homes. Now we are remodeling our daughter's kitchen in Illinois using IKEA cabinets. Having fun, but sometimes frustrating.

Hello Jim and welcome to IKEAFANS!!

Your daughter is one lucky gal having you install her kitchen.

If you have any questions, feel free to post away.

Hi Jim and welcome! It sounds like "retire" isn't exactly the right term...more like "career change"?

I do have to mention that we love pix...of kitchens, especially, but we're not picky!

Howdy, Jim! I would love to see pictures of your kitchen installation. I am soaking up all the information I can as I wil be doing my own kitchen in the next year or so. Of course, you could always come on over to Cali and do my kitchen for me!

Take Care!!!!
