I can't believe I just now stumbled across this website (via google)!

I've been a Ikea fan for a while now. I'm originally from Germany and my taste is more contemporary than traditional so Ikea is the way to go, plus good prices for great design! My nearest Ikea is 3 1/2 hours away in Atlanta, Georgia (from Knoxville, TN).

My husband and I are currently remodeling.....gutted the whole place. I currently own some Ikea office furniture (Effectiv-red) with glass desks, some dishes, and bathroom furniture (Vattern).....and I'm in the process of designing an Ikea kitchen and the decisions are not easy!!!!!!

I'm also a interior design student about to graduate!
I want to thank everyone for posting neat ideas, suggestions and especially the before and after photos, it really helps!!!

Welcome Kathy! One of our Moderators, zeuss, just finished her degree in ID and got her first job! It was a fun (for us - stressful for her, I'm sure!) process.
