I have an 80cm (31.5") Duravit sink. I need a sink cabinet. Ikea makes a nice 80cm

cabinets are either too narrow (30") or too wide (36"). I could use some help either narrowing the width of a 36" Akurum or ordering a Faktum. (Can you get them from

There a number of threads here which discuss modifying the size of an
Akurum
cabinet, though these are about "shortening" rather than lengthening - you'll need to cut a 36" to 80cm. (~31.5"). You can find those by doing a search here at IEAFANS.
As for ordering a
Faktum
cabinet, I'm not sure where to send you for that.

I am definitely NOT asking about lengthening. You probably didn't mean that. I AM asking about shortening the width of a 36" cabinet to 31.5". I think it should be doable, but the doors would be the biggest problem.
I have looked everywhere and I have not been able to find anything on IkeaFans. That's why I made this request for help. If you have seen or heard of any tips or someone who has narrowed a cabinet, please let me know.
