Hi - still plugging away at the kitchen design, met with an installer and he seemed down with the plan. I'll update my thread in Kitchen Design when I have the final order in.

I'm looking at appliances and have a dishwasher question. One of the choices has a Plate Warmer cycle - it's toward the low end of the range and this isn't given as a choice on the higher-end ones. Is this any different from running a heated dry cycle on its own? Maybe it's not possible to run a dry cycle on its own unless the dishwasher is specially set up to do it?

I have used the heated drying option on several different makes of diswashers as a plate warmer. On diswashers with the dial type switch, I just turn it to the drying section. If there's not a dial, I'm not sure if you can do this.
