Hi there,

I got a new ikea kitchen installed a few months ago, including the renlig integrated dishwasher.

But now the door has started coming off it (abstrakt door panel). Unfortunately I don't have the instructions on how to put the door panel on, so I can figure out how to take it back off again... It was my joiner that installed it in the first place, but he has gone awol!

I seem to remember there was a bit of plastic you attached between the panel & the dishwasher door, but that's about it.

Can anyone point me to instructions, or give me any tips on how to take the door panel off?

Do you need the installation instructions of the user manual?

I think I still have both... I'll check my stack of info and scan in the installation manual tonight if I have it.

I have the operating instructions for the dishwasher. It's only the instructions on how to attach the door panel to the front of the dishwasher that I require. I think there was a plastic template that came with the dishwasher. There might be a reference to that somewhere too...

I was looking for the installation manual as well. I have everything but this one - I'm pretty sure it got thrown out with a bundle of newspapers and flyers.

And of all manuals to lose, this is the worst one. Without it you have no hope of installing the door properly.

Fortunately another thread on this forum mentioned going to Whirlpool and entering in the model number - keep in mind, in North America , all IKEA appliances are made by Whirlpool. The model number is on a sticker just inside the door on the left (mine was IUD9500WX2). Don't look through Whirlpool's models, you won't find it. You have to enter it as a search term in Whirlpool's literature database:

...and entering that in, it popped up right away. They are the exact ones, IKEA branded and all.

I just wanted to put this as a little reference here for people who come across this thread in a panic like I did.
