I was in Best Buy last night and saw the new LG model LMVM2277ST...brand new. It's a 2.2 CF micro with a horizontal LIFT UP door. It's 1100 watts and even better, 470 CFM! I loved it and want it. When my OTR goes, I'm getting it! I can't find much info on it yet, and I'd like to see how it can be vented (thru wall or only thru roof) but it's very cool.
It's brand new...prices will definitely come down in the future. And it does have a larger capacity and nearly twice the fan capacity of most of the $200-$500 OTRs.
The product depth listed is 18 7/8" which means it would stick out quite a bit from the wall cabinets. That's probably where the extra capacity comes from as well.
