I'm thinking about a Hjuvik, based solely on pictures I've seen. The Seattle store doesn't have one on display (at least the times I've been in). Does anyone have one? How do you like it? Does the height refer to the length of the handspray stretched out, or to the overall height of the faucet? Thanks.Â* Pam
I don't have one... but I really want one.. and am planning to use this in my new kitchen -someone recently posted about how used one .. perhaps you can search and find the post - it might be in the progress area - not sure though.

My only concern with the (tall) HJUVIK, after seeing it on "dry display" is how springy it is, and how it seems like it might be a firehose waiting to happen in the hands of small children
Unfortunately, the smaller version was not on display, but pictures I've seen of it, makes it seem "more secure" to my eye.
I desperately wanted the HJUVIK - but due to production delays, I ended up getting aknock off faucet from a place called expressdecor.com. My plumber was impressed with the quality and I like it. It has that industrial look (it's a metal coil aerated pulldown) but not the potential for kitchen soaking. In fact, my daughter still doesn't know how to pull it down (some lessons are best left unlearned).
And, my faucet was $129 with free shipping/no taxes, although now I think it's cheaper than that.
Lisa - I've been looking at the smaller one at IKEA .. they have it on display at the sacramento store ... this must be the one you purchased from expressdecor http://www.expressdecor.com/product_...products_id/71its' on sale right now for $105 ...
They have all kinds of cool stuff ... I'm going to have to spend some time browsing ...

I shamelessly copied lisa and got the Kraus faucet because I liked the look of the Hjuvik, but wasn't able to install it in my kitchen because I have a window behind my sink and couldn't attach the "support" piece and therefore my faucet was moving all over. I got the hjuvik to a very good home and am thrilled with the kraus (from Expressdecor!)
It does not have the firehose spray, but has very good pressure, and moves all over so I don't miss having the hard spray...some might, but I don't!
Plus, I like that my faucet is GREAT-LOOKING and $150 less than the hjuvik!
