I have seen the suggestion that we run a bead of caulk along the edges of some cabinet bits (like the decor strip where it meets the cabinets) to get a more finished look. Has anyone tried colored caulk, to try and match your deco strip/cabinet color?
Something like this:

I was specifically thinking in my case of the aforementioned decostrip along the bottom, as well as potentially along the top edge where the deco strip might be used as crown moulding. Though of course there I have the option of using a white or off white to more closely match the ceiling rather than the cabinet. But it's what got me wondering...
