The longest Numerar counter top is 97". Our counter space (between 2 walls, so this is it) is 97 to 98" (old house, hard to square up, even with new drywall).
What are our options for closing the gap on the sides, which will range from 0 to 1"? Is there a trim kit? I see from an ikeafans article that there was one for pronomen. Is it still available, and would it work? If need be I'll go with 2 lengths and cut, but it would be great if 1 piece would work out.
If the walls are that far off, perhaps a countertop piece wouldn't be the easiest to fill.
Which end is skewed - the end towards the front or the back? Is there a wall cabinet going above too?
I'm thinking more along the likes of using a panel or a shallow shelf to conceal how far off the wall is.
If you have a sketch, that would help us out too ...

Yes, there will be wall cabs above. It's just a straight run between 2 walls. Not sure what you mean by shelf?
The width does tend to be smaller by a smidge at the back, along the wall itself. No problem covering the discrepancy with base and wall cabs, as I can just rip cut trim strips to the width i need.
I can probably square off one side of the counter, but perhaps there's no way around getting 2 lengths of counter and cutting to fit. Sure would be nice to avoid any seams, though.

Thanks, Birkie. That had occurred to me, too. I think caulk will take care of of the back of the counter and one of the sides. I may just have to go with quarter-round on one side, but though it won't be perfect it will be better than dealing with a seam.
