I am going to be use Lansa type handles....I am using a company that has many more sizes.

I am considering what size to use. I want very long handles. for the horizontal cabinets and 30 inch verticals I am considering either 28 inch long handles or 24 inch handles for example.

I am wondering if the entire design would look best if I could keep all handles about 2 inches smaller in lenght than the cabinets or should I make them smaller than that, for example 4 inches shorter?

bluedenim, this doesn't answer your question (sorry!) but where are you getting the Lansa-like handles from? I'm looking at a lot of Lansa for my kitchen, and more sizes could come in handy.

I recently installed non-IKEA handles (from Lee Valley) on ADEL white doors - six different lengths, the handles were chosen to fit between the ADEL side rails as evenly as possible - turned out pretty good.

I do have a question tho which is something I never though of...
what are the interio measurements of the drawers in terms of where they are screwed to the drawer fronts.

I was not even thinking and wondering how much room is there on either side for screwing the hangles into
