I thought I had saved a picture of the kitchen where the counter ran out into the bay window, but I can't find it. Any idea whose kitchen that was?

No but I'm glad you reminded me to look at hers. That is what I might end up doing if I can't find a way to have the window 4 inches lower so that it is even with the counter height and allows the soapstone to run out into it.
