Speaking of IKEA's annoying habit of not having all inventory on their website or catalogue...

I have the IKEA Seattle Kitchen catalog and have fallen in like with several items it that I am finding are either disappearing from ikea.com or not there at all.

Most important of them is the 53" EMSEN double sink (not 1 1/2) with L-hand drainboard for $119. It is not on the site.

Does this mean it is gone? Or, can I just ask IKEA direct for it when I am reday to place my order?

Ask IKEA direct. You can't go by the website. I found out that (at least at my IKEA, probably others) they "remove" things from inventory on the computer system when there are LESS THAN 10!

Kinda stinks when you're waiting for that magic "yes" to appear under "In Stock" and it's been there the whole time, even though the computer insisted on saying No.

So, Eva, does that mean that my HOPEN Corner cabinet might have been there the whole time???

What advice have yea for checking that out? Just go look for yourself in self serve?

Yes, it might have been. You can check with the store directly, if they should deign to actually answer the phone and actually look it up on their system. But best to just go check for yourself.
