Post last minute details

I am finalizing my kitchen order and just realized that I hadn't even thought about a decor strip?Â* It looks like in the catalog most kitchens have one along the base of the wall cabinets.Â* Is it necessary for undercounter lighting and/or an overall finished look?Â* Also, I have a couple of areas that require fillerÂ* of some sort.Â* None are large enough for even the 9"Â* Perfekt shelf.Â* Do most people just use the toekick as filler or cut down a door?Â* I would love to create a skinny cabinet for cookie sheets if possible instead of wasting space, but not at the cost of making the kitchen look to choppy.Â* Any thoughts?

If any of your gaps are 6-1/4", you could purchase a 30" wide single drawer front and use it as a door. You'd have to figure out hinges, but it could be a perfect cookie sheet size. Our fill spots are not more than 2" each - we used toe-kick places over the skinny edge of a 2x4 for those spots, and just toe-kick for the smaller ones.
