We've just installed IKEA cabinets in our kitchen and are now grappling with the finishing pieces and trims. Our finish is the white Ramsjo, which is a slightly warm off-white, with a matte-like finish. The trims IKEA offers for their cabinets are a cool white in a shiny finish.
We don't like how they look next to each other. Has anyone gone "off-label" and made their own crown mouldings and valances, and then paint them to match? Any insight would be very much welcome!
