We've just installed IKEA cabinets in our kitchen and are now grappling with the finishing pieces and trims. Our finish is the white Ramsjo, which is a slightly warm off-white, with a matte-like finish. The trims IKEA offers for their cabinets are a cool white in a shiny finish.

We don't like how they look next to each other. Has anyone gone "off-label" and made their own crown mouldings and valances, and then paint them to match? Any insight would be very much welcome!

Did you buy the ramsjo deco strip? That should match, I would think, unlike the other Perfekt or Abstrakt:

My apologies: I actually have the Adel white drawer and cabinet fronts. IKEA doesn't have a true match for this range, but suggests either the Perfekt or Ramsjo trims for them.

and if you search here for "paint match adel white" (without the quotes) you'll find other suggestions as well. You could just try painting the deco strip you have to see which one works best in the light in your kitchen.
