dailysweet created a blog recently and indicated that she purchased the single domsjo apron sink at IKEA woodbridge (she's doing most of her order via IKEA direct and was there to pick up things like the bumpers, drawer organizers etc ...) I'm sure she'd be able to provide the depth of the sink - as she was excited to have the sink and couldn't wait to open the box (she's at her parents though so will be waiting to open the box 'til she goes home).

Yes, Doreen is right, I have the sink in my hot little hands (or at least in my car!). I will post pics tomorrow...I am personally very curious about the four semi-drilled sink holes that apparently can be punched out?!
Marc's pics were instrumental in our decision to go for that sink...I really appreciate them being up, and also really appreciate this site...
Oh, for all the Virginia Ikea-folk out there, when I called Woodbridge today to see if the sink was in stock there, Tara C in kitchens told me, yes it was there to pick up but (with a hint of true regret in her voice) the display was not up yet. I arrived to see a nice fellow slicing away at the old countertop in the sinks display! Hopefully a lovely new Single Domsjo Apron-Front will reside there soon!
Oh dear - 7 1/2" is not going to be deep enough for us. We're spoiled - we currently have this sink with a L 10" deep and a R 8" deep bowl:
I was thinking of going from a 36" cabinet to a smaller single bowl sink in the main cleanup area and adding another small sink and dishwasher in a table setting zone. But after having 10", 7.5" will feel like going from an olympic swimming pool to a paddling pool.
Maybe not Zeuss. Try them out in the store. That may be a better settup, and the better settup may make you forget your current sink depth. I'm short 5' 3" so I actually prefer the not so deep sinks.
Heh heh heh....I now have this gorgeous sink in my hot little hands!
I took some pics which will hopefully show the scale. It is nice and wide, but not too deep that a short gal such as myself will have to stand on tiptoes to reach the bottom.
As my boyfriend said, "Wow. That is a NICE sink." He was particularly thrilled with the idea that you can punch out the 4 holes if needed...
Lemme know if I can take any more shots to answer any questions/concerns people might have. I won't be installing for a week or two, at the very least...
Ours is installed! I love this sink. Thank you all so much for telling me about it as I would never have found it on my own. No pics right now as dh has the camera on his fishing trip. Hopefully I'll manage some in progress pictures in a couple of weeks.
