Hi all,

Maybe a kind soul out there might be able to shed some light on my quest.
My dearest wife fell in love with the handles pictured bellow:







Now, I've Googled like mad and haven't found anything that comes close to this design.
Anyone seen these out there, somewhere, anywhere....???

Do you have any further information on the photo itself? Also, are they metal, or are they wooden handles? They look like they could be a dark metal like ORB, or a very dark stained wood.

If you cannot track them down, I have recently found a company in the US that will do custom work. I don't have any idea of how expensive that would be, though.

Those are photos from the catalog of a Belgium kitchen designer/builder called Xaviez.
We saw this kitchen at the latest Paris Expo last April. They are black brass, with a rough "handmade" look and feel.
However when asked who provided the handles the salesperson was, to say the least, evasive.
Understandable I guess, they are in the business of selling kitchens with starting prices in the 54.000 USD range.
Still, gorgeous as they are, I would found it surprising that such a simple design could be completely unique.
At least I hope not.

Your dearest wife has impeccable taste [well, if she likes the shape anyway], because I plan on using very similar handles on my new kitchen. But they're aluminum-colored aluminum.

There is a blacksmith on Etsy.com who does pullout handles... he doesn't have anything like this in stock, but I would bet he would make something for you just like it.

allenhart, the STRECKET look good, I'm just waiting for my local IKEA to have them so that I can have a god look at them.

kellybmw, a million thanks but what they have in stock looks way too "conservative" for what I have in mind.

Knome, dumb question from a foreigener, what about NC taxes? I would not have to pay export fares?

GardenOfDarwin, nope nothing yet. But thats what I do for a living. Find routes. And I allways find one (upper or lower airspace)
