Hi this is my first post did some searching and no one seems to have asked this so would like to know. I really really really love the linjar design but i would prefer red gloss doors or even a nice dark wood. So arent the handles sold seperately or is a similar handle sold or cant you get same design in another finish like Abstrakt red? thanks

IKEA does not sell the Linjar handles separately. There is a new door, Solar that is like Abstrakt White with Linjar handles, but I haven't seen it myself:



It sounds like you're looking for something like Kraftmaid Venicia's Mirra Collection (Alta, Chianti Gloss):



I priced these cabinets though and they were THREE times more expensive than IKEA's Linjar Blue.

I see thanks for quick reply, I really like the linjar blue but i cant convince my girlfriend about the color working in planned home, our house is very modern contentemporary which is why i love the linjar but most of our colors in the open living room/dining/kitchen will be woods with black and white, I myself am not 100% sure how the blue will fit, I know a red gloss would be lovely, but not sure about the blue in such an enviroment, I still want it bad though, sigh. I guess in order for it to work will have to play with colors a bit more. Definately dont have 3 times more to spend on the Kraftmaid Venicia Mirra.

i was going to suggest the strecket handles as well.

they do look nice
you can get them in various widths, though not sure they would always be full width.

however, the other look you can go for with these is really minimal because they come in really small sizes (like 1.5inches approx) which on a wide door would look pretty tidy

The Solar doors don't have handles, exactly...they have a groove machined into the top of the door to make a grip. It's painted the same color as the doors and is not metal like the Linjar.

There's lots of places to get pulls like Strecket if you want that look across the whole door...check out the Sources section for sites you can browse.
